When I buy processed food, I value knowing how much sugar, fat and salt I am putting in my body.
I would also value knowing how much carbon I am putting in the atmosphere when I go shopping. What is the cost to the Earth of buying a new pair of shoes? We can’t afford our economy to cost the earth.
By labelling goods and services with an Emission Index (EI), we can shop with global warming in mind. We can have our new shoes and our planet too.
