A review of the Victorian Greens state election campaign misses the point. This is not a marketing problem. It is a problem with careerist, trying to climb over activists who are the heart and soul of the greens.
Since publishing my reasons for resigning from the party, I have received numerous messages from strangers (mostly women) describing bullying, intimidation, and sexual inappropriateness in the Victorian greens.
A small cabal of people (mostly men) have a long track record of vilifying people with whom they disagree. Former candidate, Alex Bhathal, and former MP, Samantha Dunn, are not the only victims.
Until the Victorian Greens expels those who executed a political attack on Bhathal, including Darebin Councillors, the exodus will continue.
